My hubbie has recently got back into cycling so he likes to take our daughter out on the weekends to the beach on their bikes. But, like most girls, she seems to always like to take everything with her, her favourite doll, her bucket and spade for making sandcastles, her drink bottle, and her poor dad always has to carry everything. So we went out shopping for a bicycle basket but all we could find were those boring wire baskets you hook over the handles, blah!! So I think I might follow this tutorial from Noodlehead to make her a pretty fabric basket in her favorite colors. It's SO much prettier than anything you'll find in the stores! Don't you agree?

Here is something that I would have never thought to make of fabric, but it works so well! This tutorial from Quilt In Progress has good step-by-step illustrated instructions on how to put together your business card holder, and it really couldn't be much easier. Why buy one when you can make one yourself!

How amazingly comforable do these pillows look,...I HAVE TO MAKE ONE!! I actually think I'll have to make a few, a couple for the bed, the living room in front of the tv, and I think they'd be super for travelling. Needless to say these would make fabulous Christmas presents. They're quick to make and who wouldn't LOVE to get one of these in their Christmas stocking!
